Description
This 15-week course will immerse learners in the essential skills needed to excel in the IT industry. This entry-level course is ideal for those eager to enter the technology field. The course offers hands-on experience with enterprise-grade servers, networking equipment, and the latest in generative AI technologies. Learners begin by mastering the core components of IT infrastructure, developing practical skills in end-user support, and troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues. As the course progresses, the curriculum covers Data Center infrastructure support, including security, virtualization, power systems, and cooling technologies that ensure efficient operations.
The course places a strong emphasis on security and safety, preparing learners to handle electrical hazards and secure IT environments. Learners will prepare for and earn certifications such as CompTIA A+, OSHA 10-Hour General Industry, and NFPA 70E. With a focus on real-world applications, learners will gain the expertise to manage and optimize data center operations. By the end of the course, learners will be technically proficient and ready to apply their skills in diverse IT environments, ensuring a strong foundation for a career as an IT Technician or Data Center Technician.

Per Scholas offers all courses to our learners at no fee to the learners. This means that although our courses do have an associated tuition the learner never has to pay for the courses they attend. Outside of the fee-free model offered to our learners, our learners are eligible for WIOA and Veteran benefits funding in states where Per Scholas is approved.
Refund Policy
In general, students do not receive a refund since they do not directly pay for services. In the event a student receives a WIOA ITA voucher for training services the following policy is followed: If a student drops prior to, or during first week of instruction 100% of tuition covered by ITA is refunded. During the 2nd week of instruction 75% is refunded, 3rd week 50%, 4th week of instruction 25% is refunded and after the 5th week 0% is refunded.
