The AO-K program transforms the delivery system for adult education in Kansas by using Career Pathways to deliver career and technical education simultaneously with adult basic skills instruction. Students complete short term certificate programs aligned with labor market needs, leading to industry endorsed credentials and immediate jobs.

The OJT program is an opportunity for job seekers as well as employers. Job seekers earn wages while learning new skills and employers receive funds to offset the extraordinary costs of training. Employers can be reimbursed up to 75% of the wages for eligible trainees and training can last up to 26 weeks.
