Description
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) program offers a flexible schedule to accommodate students currently working as EMTs. It prepares you to recognize, assess and manage medical emergencies in prehospital settings and to supervise ambulance personnel. For two semesters, students must attend two afternoons a week and one Saturday each month. Upon completion of the 20-credit-hour program, you will be prepared to take the AEMT exam. You must be 18 years old to take the course and the certification test.
