Description
Curriculum is divided into two parts. First part combines 20 hours of classroom and 20 hours of supervised lab and clinical instruction. At the end of the first part of the nurse aid training, he or she is evaluated using the Kansas Nurse Aide Part 1 NATCEP Task Checklist; upon completing the check list the trainee is classified as Nurse trainee II and will receive a certificate of completion of paid nutrition assistant (PNA). The second part is advanced training and includes a minimum of 25 hrs. of classroom instruction combined with 25 hrs. supervised clinical instruction in a licensed adult care home environment. Trainees must complete the Kansas Nurse Aide Part II NATCEP Checklist; at which time the trainee will be scheduled to sit for the Certified Nurse Assistant Test.

Vital Academy offering free tuition for the first 20 students who enroll in the program. In addition, Providence Medical Center has offered to pay tuition for any student willing to contract with them for their first year of employment.
Refund Policy
Refunds are issued at a pro-rated amount based on the portion of the program completed, unless the student has completed 60% or more of the program in which no refund will be issued. When notice of cancellation is given within 3 days after the date of enrollment agreement is signed, students shall receive a refund of all monies paid. when notice is given after the completion of first day of class, the school may retain application fee, cost of uniforms and percentage of tuition.
