Job Description
PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Public Area Attendant to clean our public areas, including the restrooms, hallways, and lobby. The public areas are where guests will find you as your primary point of contact. You will be the first point of contact for our guests as well as our guests in other areas of the hotel.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be friendly, energetic, and able to provide assistance to the guests. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Being able to follow instructions and take orders while providing excellent customer service is a must!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Direct guests to registration or check in stations
- Provide information on restaurants and local attractions.
- Make room for other guests as well as clean up spills
- Clean restrooms, floors, and toilets.
- Empty trash in appropriate places and keep the public areas tidy
- Other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Customer service experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other staff members as well as guests
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
