Job Description
The position we are trying to fill is a Control Systems Engineer who can carry control system projects from proposal stage through design, system fabrication, programming and startup – essentially cradle to grave.
Our customer base is varied. One day you may be in a bakery, the next in a metal fabrication shop and follow that in a wastewater treatment plant or one of the many other industries we support.
Bottom line is if you like variety in your work life and are bored doing the same tasks day in and day out, then you will be a good candidate for this position.
Responsibilities
Ability to program a PLC (preference is experience with Allen Bradley products)
Ability to program HMI’s including Panelviews and computer based packages like Factorytalk View and Wonderware.
Design electrical control panels
Autocad experience a plus.
Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems
Some travel to customer’s sites within an 8 hour drive of Kansas City. Our projects typically have us home every weekend.
