Job Description
What Our Dispatchers Do:
- Communicates effectively via radio, telephone, and computer equipment to assist Bus Operators and the public.
- Directs and monitors aTa Bus vehicles and routes.
- Communicates traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, and weather conditions.
- Communicates work assignments to Bus Operators and acts as a liaison between Bus Operators and Mechanics.
- Schedules rides and answers questions regarding the services we provide.
- Manage the software that tracks vehicles.
- Document and maintain files and records.
- Provide information to internal teams.
