Job Description

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 47-2061 Construction Laborer such as the following: Break ice, thaw lines; Establish the location for a fence, and gather information needed to ensure that there are no electric cables or water lines in the area; Set posts in upright position; Align posts, by lines or sighting, and verify vertical alignment of posts; Attach hot wire along tops of posts via insulators; Use spades, posthole diggers, or power-driven augers; Attach using hammers and pliers; Assemble gates, and fasten gates into position; Stretch wire between posts; Repair corrals, fences, chutes, water/feeding equipment; Construct barriers and other types of fences, walls, and gates; Move stockers to and from fields; Drive machine such as and not limited to mixer, feed truck, cakebox; Monitor solar shocker and replace/repair as needed; Build pipe cases to protect water wells; Install water wells for stock tanks and water troughs; Reclaim pastures by removing trees and debris.

Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.
