Job Description
The City of Chanute is hiring a full-time B-Equipment Operator in the Sanitation Department. Position performs tasks related to solid waste collection including residential and commercial curbside refuse collection. Must have a safe driving record, possess a valid Kansas CDL Class B driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED. At least one-year refuse collection or commercial driving experience preferred; experience operating side-loading waste collection vehicle a plus. Position offers competitive pay and strong benefits.
