The Wichita Children’s Home is looking to hire Full-time Empowerment Counselors (Direct Care Teen Mentor). These positions would be working in our 6 Residential Programs for children and youth in foster care and experiencing homelessness.
RESPONSBILITIES
- Provide quality care and supervision to children and youth ages 10-24 while assisting with daily living activities
- Facilitate program and recreational activities
- Provide support, mentorship, and guidance to the youth
- Prepare meals and perform routine facility cleaning and laundry
- Provide transportation to and from various appointments and activities in the community
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of work
