Job Description
About the Role:
The Material Coordinator performs clerical and physical tasks related to shipping military vehicles and containers, and receiving incoming shipments. In performing day-to-day, routine tasks, this worker follows established guidelines. Duties typically involve the following:
- Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing the items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment with the documents.
- Ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory status and material transactions
- Must have completed or have the ability to successfully complete the AMMO 62 Course and certificate within the first 60 days.
- Must be able to complete or have the ability to successfully complete the CMOS requirements within the first 60 days.
