Position Summary:

As a Superintendent at Eby Construction, you will be responsible for upholding the company’s high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and on-time project completion. This role requires strong leadership in planning and execution, with a focus on driving efficiency, mentoring teams, and ensuring work is performed to the highest standards. Superintendents are accountable for meeting customer expectations while maintaining integrity, professionalism, and fair, respectful interactions with employees and client representatives.

Essential Functions:           

• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients
• Direct and supervise craft employees and subcontractors
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed
• Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies
• Determine labor requirements for dispatching workers to construction site(s)
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations
