Warehouse & Yard Coordinator

at Advanced Erosion Solutions, LLC in Olathe, Kansas, United States

Job Description

Advanced Erosion Solutions is looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse & Yard Coordinator to help keep our materials, equipment, and field crews moving efficiently.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk warehouse position. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors, operate equipment, organize and stage materials, receive deliveries, help track inventory, and provide support to our field crews.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, notices when something needs to be done, and can work independently without needing constant direction.

Some training will be provided. Experience with forklifts, loaders, construction materials, warehouses, or equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse, material storage area, and outdoor yard.
  • Receive deliveries and ensure materials are properly unloaded, organized, and stored.
  • Stage materials and supplies for field crews before they leave for jobs.
  • Deliver parts, materials, tools, or supplies to field crews when needed.
  • Retrieve and stage materials sold through the office and coordinate customer pickups.
  • Monitor material and inventory levels, including seed, erosion-control products, and other commonly used supplies.
  • Notify management when inventory reaches established reorder levels.
  • Help minimize damaged, lost, or wasted materials through proper storage and organization.
  • Load, unload, and move materials using a forklift, track loader, or other equipment.
  • Assist with general maintenance and organization of equipment and work areas.
  • Occasionally assist field crews with labor or other jobsite needs.
  • Use basic hand and power tools as needed.
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support daily operations.
What We're Looking For
  • Dependable and able to consistently report to work as scheduled.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and keep materials organized in a busy work environment.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
  • Willingness to occasionally work extended hours or weekends when needed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Forklift, skid steer, track loader, warehouse, construction, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Employees must be able to perform physical work throughout the day, including:

  • Walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
  • Lifting, carrying, loading, and moving materials.
  • Working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Safely operating equipment and working around vehicles, machinery, and construction materials.
Compensation & Benefits

AES offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • $19.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Potential annual bonuses
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid vacation
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Life and AD&D insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match

We are looking for someone who wants to become a dependable part of the operation—not just someone looking for another warehouse job. If you're organized, hands-on, mechanically comfortable, and like staying busy, we'd like to hear from you.
