Job Description
We are looking for safety-focused Certified Forklift Operator with at least 1 year of hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts in fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environments. Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Obtain forklift license and certification from client on first day on sit-down forklift
- Operate Hi-Lo truck
- Move merchandise to storage, properly documenting locations and/or scanning locations and product
- Operate forklift in a safe manner
- Ensure implementation of quality and safety procedures
- Work with other associates to set up machine and stack, pack, mark, and transport finished items
- Maintain clean and orderly work area
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Previous exposure to warehouse environment preferred
- Accuracy and attention to detail required
- Must have good eye and hand coordination
- Previous experience in automotive or electrical assembly a plus
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds
- Able to sit or stand for entire shift
- Must be able to reach and grab with hands and arms
- Must be able to grasp steering wheel and controls for the entire shift
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel as needed
