Now Hiring: Machine Operator / Assembler / Plasma Cutter Operator – Riverside, MO

Pay: $23.00/hour

LSI Staffing is hiring Machine Operators, Assemblers, and Plasma Cutter Operators for a leading company in Riverside, MO specializing in mechanical pipe joining and fire protection solutions. This opportunity offers competitive pay, cross-training, and long-term growth in a clean, well-organized facility.

Schedule:

2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate machines including band saws, shot blasters, groovers, and plasma cutting equipment

+ Assemble mechanical components to specification

+ Perform in-process inspections, including dimensional checks and surface prep

+ Verify finished product meets drawings and work order specifications

+ Maintain inspection records and ensure proper calibration of tools and gauges

+ Complete daily checklists and support 5S standards

+ Communicate with leads and supervisors regarding maintenance needs

+ Cross-train in multiple areas to support team success

Qualifications :

+ High school diploma required

+ Manufacturing, plasma cutting, or steel fabrication experience preferred

+ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows) preferred

+ Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)

+ Strong math skills (fractions to decimals)

+ Good communication and problem-solving skills

+ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
