Job Description
Goddard Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to assist students in the classroom. This position is 35 hours per week.
Position OverviewThe Paraprofessional works under the direction of certified staff to support student learning and classroom activities. This role involves assisting with instruction, reinforcing skills, and helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications- Previous educational experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities
- Patient, dependable, and team-oriented
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities
- Provide support to individual students or small groups
- Help reinforce academic and behavioral expectations
- Prepare instructional materials as directed
- Monitor student progress and assist with classroom management
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
