Mechanical Designer - DUTIES - Develop detailed 3D models of piping systems, mechanical equipment, and layouts using 3D modelling software SmartPlant 3D. Design mechanical systems such as steam cycles, boiler feed and condensate systems, water treatment, fuel handling, hydraulic and heat transfer systems. Coordinate the placement and integration of mechanical equipment within power plants and industrial facilities. Work closely with engineers, other designers, and construction teams to ensure constructability and safety. Prepare and check design deliverables including P&IDs, equipment layouts, Isometric Drawings and mechanical drawings. May work from home anywhere in the U.S.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 8 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) develop detailed 3D models of piping systems, mechanical equipment, and layouts using 3D modelling software SmartPlant 3D; (2) design mechanical systems such as boiler feed and condensate systems, water treatment, fuel handling, hydraulic and heat transfer systems; and (3) prepare and check design deliverables including P&IDs, equipment layouts, Isometric Drawings and mechanical drawings. May work from home anywhere in the U.S.
