How you’ll make an impact in this role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join an employed full-time position within our Occupational Health Team, providing services at the Manhattan Occupational Health Clinic with cross-coverage at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF).
+ Specialty: Occupational Health
+ Call structure: NBAF call only
+ Practice setting: Occupational Health Clinic and NBAF
+ EMR System: Systoc
+ Employed position within a nonprofit health system
+ Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
+ Provide high-quality occupational health services to the Manhattan community and NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance, and animal handlers
+ Evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related illnesses and injuries
+ Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations
+ Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.
Education:
+ Master’s degree of Nursing required.
