Job Description

The Assembly Operator is responsible for inspecting and assembling parts according to provided work instructions and established quality standards on an assembly line.

• Assemble parts or operate machinery according to established TAKT times.
• Assemble and inspect parts according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Bag and pack finished parts.
• Train employees as needed.
• Follow all plant and workplace standards.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
• Remove trash and cardboard as needed.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. independently and 50+ lbs. with a team lift.
• Ability to continuously walk, stand, push, pull, twist, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach overhead and below the waist.
• Ability to repeatedly feel, grasp, or squeeze a variety of parts and tools.
• Ability to pass a vision/color test where required.

• Availability to work up to 12-hour shifts and/or weekends with short notice.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to hazards such as dust, machinery exhaust, and noise.
• Work in varying temperatures, including warmer conditions during the summer and cooler conditions during the winter.
• Must be able to properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, safety vest, hearing protection, safety shoes, and other required equipment.
