Industrial Tank Wash Technician – $18–$20/Hour + Significant Overtime

Wichita Tank Wash is looking for a dependable, hard-working person to join our team cleaning semi tanker trailers and other commercial tanks.

This is not an easy indoor shop job. It is physical work, much of it performed outdoors in the heat, cold and other Kansas weather. The job also involves working around large trucks, industrial cleaning equipment, heights and confined spaces.

For the right person, though, it is a chance to learn a specialized industrial job, earn substantial overtime and build a long-term career with a growing local company.

Pay & Hours

• $18–$20/hour depending on experience
• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Approximately 250 hours of overtime expected each year
• Additional overtime is often available
• At $20/hour, expected overtime can put annual earnings around $49,000, with the potential to earn $55,000+ in busier years
• Paid time off

What You'll Do

• Clean the inside of semi tanker trailers and other tanks
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment
• Work safely around trucks, trailers and shop equipment
• Follow detailed safety procedures
• Work at heights and in confined spaces
• Assist with general shop and yard work as needed

Experience
No tank wash experience is required. We will train the right person.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Farm or ranch work
• Construction
• Trucking
• Heavy equipment
• Mechanics
• Industrial or manufacturing work
• Other physically demanding outdoor jobs

Experience backing a tractor-trailer is preferred, but not required.
