Special Education Teacher – Middle and High School
Kansas City, Missouri
Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join an elementary school team supporting students in self-contained and resource rooms.
This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who enjoys creating a structured, supportive environment while helping students reach their individual goals.
Compensation & Perks
+ $48-$55 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
+ Support students with Autism and diverse learning and behavioral needs
+ Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
+ Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
+ Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, administrators, and related service providers
+ Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
Requirements
+ Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification preferred
+ Candidates working toward Missouri Special Education certification are encouraged to apply
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
+ Experience with Autism or diverse learning needs preferred
+ Strong communication and classroom management skills
+ Ability to obtain required state and district clearances
