Day-To-Day: As a full-time Debit Card Ops & Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end life cycle management of debit card issuance and maintenance including card production, activation, replacement and ongoing support. You will also:
- Oversee debit card ordering, printing, and fulfillment processes.
- Maintain/ensure operational accuracy, regulatory compliance and excellence in customer service in all card-related processes.
- Perform card maintenance tasks such as reissues, status updates, PIN resets, and fraud blocks.
- Monitor card activity and troubleshoot issues related to declined transactions, lost/stolen cards, and cardholder disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of cardholder data and ensure updates are reflected in core banking systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and secure handling of cards.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and other regulatory standards.
- Support digital card services (e.g., instant issue, mobile wallet provisioning).
- Provide reporting analytics on card usage, inventory, and performance.
- Assist in testing and implementation of new card features or system upgrades.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Experience: You may be wondering what we are looking for in a candidate. Qualified candidates should:
- Demonstrate three to five years of similar or related experience.
- Have obtained a two-year college degree, have completed specialized certification or licensing, completed specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or have job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate an ability to multi-task, and be deadline driven.
- Have a mathematical aptitude along with a strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
