Overview
Department:Outpatient Rehabilitation-Physical Therapy Shifts Available: Days Employment Type:Full-time Hours:Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Location:Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation Team. Therapists provide one-on-one, patient-centered care, primarily treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, with opportunities to work with neurological, vestibular, lymphedema, and pelvic health populations. The ideal candidate is passionate about evidence-based practice, functional outcomes, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):+ Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals.
+ Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility.
+ Facilitate physical therapy sessions through exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
+ Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively.
+ Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.
+ Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.
Qualifications
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:+ Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
+ Current state Physical Therapy license
+ Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
