Baker
Great Western Dining at our Butler Community College location is looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to prepare a wide range of baked goods including breads, pastries, cookies, and specialty items. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and cleanliness. This role requires early morning shifts and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for producing standard baked goods such as cakes, cookies, biscuits, muffins and various types of puddings
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items when applicable.
- Unload, clean and operate mixers
- Maintains all daily production, sanitation sheets and applicable forms to ensure all procedures are met
- Assists with cleaning the kitchen and maintaining a sanitary work area
- Meet or exceed all established HACCP sanitation and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen or bakery staff to meet production deadlines.
- Other duties as required & assigned
Physical requirements of the job:
- Continuous walking and other means of mobility
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time.
