The Opportunity

The Senior Process Architect is an individual contributor role within Digital & IT that reports into the Director of Process Architecture and is responsible for documenting, analyzing, and improving end-to-end processes that support enterprise transformation, operational efficiency, and scalable service delivery.

This role partners with IT and business stakeholders to create process models, governance artifacts, requirements, reporting standards, and improvement recommendations across enterprise platforms and service delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

Process Architecture & Design

+ Develop and maintain end-to-end process maps, workflows, SOPs, governance artifacts, and supporting documentation.

+ Document current-state processes and design future-state workflows that improve consistency, compliance, operational readiness, and scalability.

+ Apply process architecture methods such as BPMN-style modeling, SIPOC, Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, and continuous improvement practices.

Process Governance & Continuous Improvement

+ Analyze process gaps, manual work, control risks, data quality issues, and opportunities for standardization or automation.

+ Support process governance through documentation standards, ownership models, review cadences, and change control practices.

+ Partner with process owners, service owners, project teams, and technology teams to implement and sustain process improvements.

Technology Enablement & Process Requirements

+ Translate process needs into business requirements, functional considerations, integration points, and implementation-ready process specifications.

+ Support enterprise platform initiatives involving HRIS, ITSM, workflow, reporting, SaaS integrations, and digital employee experience capabilities.

+ Support testing, operational readiness, and post-implementation validation for new or revised processes.

Metrics, Reporting & Communication

+ Partner with applicable product lead to create clear communications, job aids, process walkthroughs, and reference materials that support stakeholder understanding and adoption.

+ Contribute to metrics, dashboards, reporting standards, and insights that support leadership decision-making.

+ Facilitate workshops and process reviews to align stakeholders, clarify handoffs, and resolve ambiguity.

Management Responsibilities

Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Hands-on experience documenting, analyzing, and improving business, IT, HR, service delivery, or operational processes.

+ Experience supporting enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, HRIS, ITSM, workflow, reporting, or digital employee experience initiatives.

+ Working knowledge of process modeling, governance frameworks, reporting tools, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.

+ Strong communication skills, including the ability to create clear stakeholder materials, process documentation, and practical guidance.

+ Strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills across technical, operational, and leadership audiences.

+ Ability to assess process-related data structures, identify required data elements, clarify ownership, and support consistent data definitions across workflows and systems.

+ Ability to evaluate data integrity risks, including completeness, accuracy, duplication, handoff gaps, and downstream impacts on reporting or operational performance.

+ Ability to translate process and operational data into meaningful analysis, reporting requirements, dashboards, KPIs, and leadership-ready insights.

+ 8-10 years of experience in process architecture, business process management, business analysis, HRIS, IT service delivery, operations transformation, or related roles.

+ Experience creating process maps, workflows, SOPs, business requirements, governance artifacts, and process improvement recommendations.

+ Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, BPMN, SIPOC, or similar process improvement and service management practices.

+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, ITIL, BPM, PMP, or related certification.

+ Experience with Oracle, ServiceNow, ADP, ATS, PowerBI, or comparable enterprise platforms.

+ Experience working with structured operational, process, HR, ITSM, or enterprise platform data to support analysis, reporting, process improvement, and decision-making.

+ Experience defining or validating data fields, data sources, reporting logic, data quality expectations, and metric definitions across business or technology processes.

+ Experience creating or supporting dashboards, scorecards, operational reports, KPI frameworks, or executive reporting using tools such as Power BI, Excel, ServiceNow reporting, or comparable platforms.

+ Experience defining, analyzing, or reporting on Experience Level Agreements (XLAs) and related employee experience, service quality, adoption, or outcome-based metrics.

+ Experience supporting HR, IT, employee experience, talent acquisition, service management, or operational transformation processes.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in information Security/Computer Science/Electronics and Engineering/Information Technology preferred or any other degree. Or, equivalent 8+years’ experience or specialized training in lieu of degree.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
