Temp to Hire

QA Technician – Kansas City, MO

Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour

Schedule:

+ Monday-Friday

+ 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

+ Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician with manufacturing experience to join our team in Kansas City.

Responsibilities

+ Perform in-process and final product inspections.

+ Verify products meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

+ Inspect welded joints and coatings for quality.

+ Perform product testing and maintain inspection records.

+ Inspect incoming materials and completed products.

+ Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Manufacturing or steel fabrication experience is a plus.

+ Basic Microsoft Office and Windows computer skills.

+ Knowledge of arc welding for carbon, stainless, and alloy metals is a plus.

+ Familiarity with liquid and powder coatings is helpful.

+ Basic understanding of ASTM, AWWA, and AWS/ASME standards is preferred.

+ Ability to perform inspections and tests such as dye-penetrant, magnetic particle, and coating thickness.

+ Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, and ability to use measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

+ Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Good communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Able to work independently, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail.
