Job Description
Ottawa Middle School is seeking a dedicated, structured, and compassionate In-School Suspension (ISS) Building Aide to manage the ISS classroom. This role provides direct supervision to students serving internal suspensions, ensuring they remain focused on their academics while maintaining a calm, orderly, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Classroom Management: Maintain a highly structured, quiet, and well-disciplined environment conducive to learning. Establish daily expectations and enforce district code-of-conduct guidelines.

Academic Support: Coordinate with classroom teachers to collect, distribute, and return student coursework. Assist students with assignments, monitor tests, and ensure completion of all assigned tasks.

Student Guidance: Conduct reflection exercises with students to discuss choices, build problem-solving strategies, and encourage positive behavior changes before they return to the standard classroom.
