Job Posting: Machinist
Position Summary: Ward/Kraft is seeking a motivated, energetic, career-focused machinist. Job duties would include fabricating precision parts and instruments, repair precision metal and plastic components by interpreting blueprints and programming heavy machinery.
Key Qualifications would include:
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude o Mathematical skills, calculating industrial math tolerances
- Knowledge of engineering schematics,
- Set up machinery, including drills, grinders, mills & lathes o Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, thread gauges
- Quick Learner — Problem Solver- Self-Starter-Detail Oriented
- Dependable, ambitious, energetic, and enthusiastic o Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential o Able to follow directions, detail oriented o High School diploma or equivalent o 1 Year of CNC Programming preferred, not required
