Job Description
Sunflower Elementary School is looking for a dedicated, compassionate Library Aide to join our team.
Serves primarily as an elementary library aide, supporting the daily operations of the schools media center and fostering an early love for reading. Core responsibilities include managing book circulation, organizing inventory, maintaining shelf order, and creating engaging library displays. In this role, the aide works directly with young students, helping them select age-appropriate books, introducing basic library resources, and promoting a welcoming, safe, and positive learning environment. The aide also collaborates closely with teaching staff to support literacy activities and reinforce basic classroom management.
Beyond primary library duties, the district reserves the right to assign alternative or additional duties as needed to support overall school operations.
