Description

+ Performs routine dental treatments on inmates referred by the medical staff
+ Documents completed with all services provided to the inmate in the inmate’s medical record
+ Instructs patients on proper improper dental care
+ Reviews policies/procedures yearly as related to dental
+ Assists the jail in developing and implementing policies that will ensure high quality dental care, such as emergency dental treatment of inmates, prescribe medications and special diets required for dental
+ Any and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Active license in the state(s) in which services are to be provided, in good standing
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training
+ 2+ years of related experience
+ Must be able to drive a motor vehicle
