+ Use hand tools, tape measures, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to verify part dimensions and ensure product quality.
+ Support the management team in the development and implementation of new programs, systems, and process improvements within the production area.
+ Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues, adjust setups, and make minor corrections to keep production running efficiently.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production, quality, and operational goals.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred, with prior machine operation experience in a production setting strongly valued.

+ Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to understand machine functions, recognize abnormal conditions, and perform basic troubleshooting.
+ Demonstrated ability to use hand tools safely and effectively in a production environment.
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
+ Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to quality craftsmanship and accuracy.
+ Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, machinery, and specialized techniques such as grinding, brazing, and blade tensioning.
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Trade school certification, technical training, or completion of an apprenticeship in machining, manufacturing, or a related field is highly valued.
+ Experience working in a machine shop or production environment with a focus on grinding, polishing, or similar precision processes.
+ Familiarity with inventory control processes and basic understanding of how production and inventory systems interact.
+ Experience assisting with shipping and receiving activities, including packaging, loading, and unloading products.
+ Comfort working with newer production equipment and willingness to learn the operation and maintenance of advanced machines purchased in 2023-2024.
