Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Sr. Manufacturing Maintenance Technician working the night shift, you will be responsible for handling emergency maintenance issues to ensure daily production levels are maintained. Additionally, you will complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks, as well as general repair, modification, and fabrication projects.
Responsibilities
+ Make repairs or adjustments based on work orders or verbal requests from management on all production process equipment and supporting systems.
+ Support daily manufacturing, filling, and packaging operations by making repairs to enhance operations’ Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
+ Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as required.
+ Complete preventative maintenance and general repair work orders as scheduled.
+ Fabricate minor replacement/repair parts within the maintenance machining/welding shop.
+ Assist in analyzing and correcting problems encountered during maintenance work to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
+ Communicate daily with the Maintenance Team Lead regarding shift-to-shift information transfer.
+ Collaborate with the engineering department to develop capital equipment needs and support new equipment installations.
+ Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours, with additional overtime as needed.
+ Report any actual or potential safety hazards to management.

+ 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
+ Experience with automated production equipment
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Process automation control troubleshooting experience
+ Proficiency in electrical, electronics, and controls technologies
+ Powered industrial equipment operation training
+ Training and experience with safety programs such as lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space, and elevated work
+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance work order software systems

Work Environment
Work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, where standing for up to 6 hours, performing physical tasks such as squatting, bending, and climbing ladders is required. The workday can last up to 12 hours, and you may need to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver up and down ladders. Clean room gowning will often be required, and adherence to all health and safety policies and guidelines is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 – $36.00/hr.
