Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14.54 – $14.54 / hour*

What you’ll be doing as a Hospital Food Service Worker:

+ Work in various areas of the hospital food service department where meals are prepared and served

+ Assist with setting up and serving food from counters, serving lines, and steam tables

+ Prepare meal trays and replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies as needed

+ Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, serving stations, workstations, and dining areas

+ Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils as needed

+ Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

+ Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

+ Perform other food service and kitchen support duties as assigned

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

+ Previous food service, cafeteria, restaurant, or hospital food service experience is preferred but not required

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

+ Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

+ Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus

+ Strong customer service and teamwork skills

+ Dependable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Background check and proof of required vaccinations required
