We're looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our shop team in Towanda, KS. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, keeping equipment running, and working in a shop where your skills are valued, we'd love to talk with you.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Repair engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, air systems, and electrical components.
- Repair brakes, steering, suspension, drivelines, and foundation components.
- Diagnose electronic controls and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Inspect equipment to ensure it meets DOT safety standards.
- Complete work orders accurately and communicate repair needs with the Shop Foreman.
- Identify additional repairs or safety concerns before equipment returns to service.
- Assist with repairs on custom-built equipment as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Two or more years of diesel, heavy truck, agricultural, construction equipment, or heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance on diesel equipment.
- Technical school or diesel certification is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must provide your own basic mechanic tools for Class 8 truck and trailer repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
