Position Summary

The Customer Relationship Manager is responsible for developing, strengthening, and maintaining strategic customer relationships across Grandview Cabinetry’s target markets. This role focuses on relationship development, customer engagement, prequalification efforts, and long-term account growth within the multifamily and commercial construction industries.

The Customer Relationship Manager serves as a key external representative of the company and works to increase customer engagement, strengthen market visibility, and support long-term business growth initiatives.

This position is relationship-focused and strategic in nature and is not primarily responsible for day-to-day sales administration, order processing, or internal project coordination.

Essential Responsibilities

Relationship Development & Customer Engagement

  • Develop and maintain relationships with developers, general contractors, property management groups, brokers, and other strategic customers
  • Establish regular communication cadence with existing and prospective customers
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen customer engagement and increase repeat business
  • Support customer retention through proactive relationship management
  • Represent the company professionally in meetings, industry events, and customer interactions

Strategic Business Development

  • Support prequalification efforts with target customers and organizations
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and market segments
  • Maintain visibility into customer activity, pipeline opportunities, and market trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with operational capabilities
  • Provide customer and market feedback to leadership

Account Support & Coordination

  • Partner with Customer Service and Sales Support to ensure communication continuity
  • Maintain accurate customer interaction records within company systems
  • Assist with customer issue escalation and relationship recovery when needed
  • Participate in strategic account reviews and customer planning discussions

  • Ability to build trust with a wide range of customer personalities
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Business development, customer service, account management, or related experience preferred
  • Construction, manufacturing, or multifamily industry experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel when necessary (United States)
