Job Description
In collaboration with and under the direction of the BH COO have responsibility for the operational outcomes of inpatient clinical services in the North Kansas City Hospital (NKCH) Behavioral Health department. Responsibilities are further defined by the contract between NCKH and University Health TMC Behavioral Health division. Provides leadership direction to inpatient clinical departments and program managers, and ensures effective and efficient operation of patient and client services. In partnership with NKC Hospital, manages the department budget. Has responsibilities for integrated care in the medical hospital setting. Provides oversight in direct care to staff delivering mental health and mental wellness as needed.
Minimum Requirements
1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
2. Licensed in the State of Missouri as an RN,
3. Three to five years management experience in mental health services.
4. Effective time management and problem solving skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with culturally diverse patient and staff population.
