Job Description
Position Summary
The Garment Press Operator is responsible for finishing cleaned garments using
professional pressing equipment to ensure a high-quality, wrinkle-free appearance. This
role is essential to delivering a polished final product to customers and maintaining company quality standards
Key Responsibilities
Operate commercial pressing equipment (steam press, hand iron, etc.)
Press and finish garments including shirts, pants, dresses, and specialty items
Inspect garments before and after pressing for stains, damage, or quality issues
Follow garment care instructions and fabric requirements
Maintain a consistent workflow to meet daily production goals
Ensure proper handling and organization of customer garments
Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized
Assist with other production tasks as needed (sorting, tagging, packaging)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable working in a warm environment (due to steam equipment)
