Job Description
Description: Southeast Kansas Education Center is looking for a creative and quality driven Speech and Language Pathologist to work with families that include infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities. Successful candidates will be located at TARC in Topeka, KS.
Skills: Applicant must hold or be eligible for Kansas certification/licensure. Masters degree in Speech/Language Pathology with ASHA Certification, Kansas Department of Health and Environment licensure. • Four years experience working with persons with disabilities preferred. • Must have and maintain a valid Kansas Driver’s License as well as a satisfactory driving record. All applicants will be required to present a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) at the time of application. TARC conducts background screenings, post-offer, pre-employment and random drug testing.
Duties: The therapist will work as part of a team conducting evaluations and providing intervention and support services in children’s homes, childcare settings and other community locations.
