Client is seeking a senior-level Data Architect to help define and lead the future state of their enterprise data platform. The organization is in an early-stage data maturity journey, having implemented a Databricks-based data platform in Azure, with Azure Data Factory for ingestion and Power BI for reporting. However, the environment has been highly project-driven, lacking: Defined data domains Structured data products A long-term architectural roadmap A cohesive enterprise data strategy This role will: Lead the design and architecture of the enterprise data platform Establish standards, frameworks, and best practices Define roadmaps and future-state architecture Partner with business stakeholders to translate vague requirements into structured design Collaborate with an enterprise architect, data engineers, and leadership Help ensure the platform is scalable and ready for AI use cases This is a high-impact, highly visible role with significant influence over direction.
