Supporting: About the Individual:
This woman is independent, drives her own car, and works in the community. She is looking for a farm or property in the Garden City, Deerfield, or Lakin areas that can accommodate her lifestyle and love of animals. She's easygoing, does not smoke, and has no preference for family size or structure - just a quiet, animal-friendly home where she and her pets can feel comfortable and supported.
She brings with her:
8 goats
3 dogs (outside pets, one sleeps indoors)
5 cats (outside pets)
A fenced-in area for her dogs
A need for fenced-in space or a barn/shelter for her goats, especially during inclement weather
Average Annual Income: Approximately $47,000 (federally tax-free) + Monthly Rent & Household Expenses Contribution

How You'll Make a Difference
Every individual is unique, but your responsibilities may include:
Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and decision-making.
Assisting with medication administration and medical appointments.
Helping someone build connections, participate in their community, and experience a sense of belonging.
Providing transportation and support with daily activities as needed.
Maintaining documentation and communication with the Mosaic support team.
Helping someone build confidence, develop independence, and pursue personal goals.
Depending on the individual's needs, support may also include:
Assistance with personal care activities
Behavioral support
Medical or physical support needs
Specialized care and monitoring
What Mosaic Provides

Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
You must be a current resident of the state of Kansas (due to state funding restrictions).
Own/Rent your own home, apartment, condo, or townhouse
Active homeowner's or renter's insurance
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance
Internet access and basic computer skills
Ability to complete required screenings, background checks, and training
Experience is preferred but not required.
