About This Role
Housing and Dining Services seeks a qualified applicant for the position of Procurement Officer I. This role performs procurement activities for a large, self-operated auxiliary department with five functional areas: business operations, facilities management, dining services, apartment living and residence life. Duties include:

Worksite Description
This position is On-site.
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires two years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Extensive knowledge of public sector/governmental purchasing rules and regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of financial purchase order program.
- Ability to make mathematical calculations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to research, prepare, and present accurate reports
- Demonstrated proficiency in the proficient use of technology
- Valid driver's license upon employment
