What You'll Do
As a Behavior Support Specialist (also known as a Direct Support Professional), you'll work in one of our group homes located throughout Wichita, helping individuals with daily living and personal goals.
You will:
- Support adults with disabilities and behavioral challenges in everyday activities
- Teach and encourage life skills that promote independence and confidence
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and basic household tasks
- Build meaningful relationships through conversation, activities, and outings
- Participate in fun, community-based activities like local sporting events, Botanica Gardens, and holiday celebrations
