Job Description
Are you a compassionate Respiratory Therapist lookin to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents? We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory car within our skilled nursing and long-term care community.
Respiratory Therapist Essential Duties
+ Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by the physician
+ Assess and monitor resident respiratory status during routine treatments and rounds
+ Identify changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to nursing and providers
+ Assist with management of oxygen therapy and oxygen equipment
+ Monitor residents utilizing respiratory devices and therapies
+ Perform routing respiratory assessment including breath sounds, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and treatment effectiveness
+ Recognize early sign of respiratory decline and initiate appropriate communication and intervention
Respiratory Qualifications
Required+ Current Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) license in good standing
+ Current BLS certification
Preferred+ Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care
+ ACLS certification
