Helpers - Carpenters (4) Temporary Full Time Position 10/1/26-12/15/2026, Help carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment.
DAILY TRAVEL TO VARIOUS JOB SITES LOCATED IN Shawnee, Douglas, Jefferson, Osage, Franklin, Lyon, Wabaunsee, Geary, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Brown, Nemaha COUNTIES IN KS .
ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS. SOME OT AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. 8 HOUR WORKDAY . ONSITE safety and MSHA training provided.. Hours may vary but workers will work an 8 hour shift within Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm.
. OPTIONAL EMPLOYER OWNED HOUSING $140.00 PER WEEK/ $280.00 PER PAY PERIOD. HEALTH , DENTAL, VISION , LIFE, DISABILITY INSURANCE (DEDUCTION DEPENDS ON PLAN SELECTED). PAID HOLIDAYS. Workers are responsible for transportation to the designated pick up location in Lecompton KS , Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Lecompton , KS NO exp . /No edu. req'd. 40hr/wk. Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm, $19.78 hr OT $29.67 /hr , Single workweek computation, Pd biweekly by check. All payroll deductions taken, required by law. Merit based raises available at employer discretion. Job order is being placed in connection with future filing for H2B labor certification. Must be eligible within the USA and available entire work period. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsidence (including meals &, to the extent necessary lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or if employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Employer agrees to offer work for at least ¾ of the work days in each 12 week period of total employment period.Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per /day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 p/day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
