Job Description
Job Overview
Responsible for contract processing procedures and activities, reviews contract requests and proposals, and serves in a liaison capacity across departments. Works closely with the customer, production control, and managers to ensure effective working relationships and resolution of contract issues through final customer delivery. The PM plays a pivotal role in balancing the technical, business, and operational goals of the program to deliver successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Program Execution
- Initiator of Contract Review process per current revision of DNC Procedure
- Process and maintain customer purchase orders (PO’s) utilizing current ERP System.
- Contracts: Understanding of customer terms and conditions. Update and Maintain LTA worksheet. Communicate contract expiry dates well in advance (12 months)
- Understanding of DNC budgetary requirements (Sales, Margins, Etc.…), including understanding and addressing cost pressures (material, OP, hardware and nonrecurring charges)
- Update, Monitor and communicate customer dashboards to identify all opportunities, risks and customer relationships.
- Monitor Performance: Work with customer on past dues and under mins to avoid late hits.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicating via email and phone with external customers with utmost professionalism, dignity, and respect.
- Identify potential risks early in program and effectively communicate with all internal support functions. Examples: PO issues, customer escalations, shortages, etc.…)
- Monitor performance and provide guidance and support to the team
- Communicate with Logistics on load and shipping support, SCM on materials and hardware, Estimating on RFQs.
- Attend Department and Company Meetings.
- Continuous Improvement: Communicate recurring internal process break downs in CCB in an effective manner.
Compliance and Quality
- Request RMAs from Quality and tracking to return to customers
- Provide correct documents to logistics when applicable (QA forms, source inspection, etc.)
- Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma / GED - Min
- Experience in Program Management
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday.
- Familiar with planning and ERP software.
- Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry.
- Organized, focused, and results oriented.
- Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.

Experience:
- Program management: 2 years (Preferred)
- Aerospace: 1 year (Preferred)
