Job Description
- The primary mission focus of the Freight Supervisor is within Material Movement, supervising freight services, including the operation of a Freight Shipping Point and all administrative responsibilities associated with outbound freight shipments and the shipping of hazardous and sensitive materials.
- This includes processing and documenting freight for shipment, preparing Bills of Lading (BL), and verifying Transportation Account Codes (TAC) through the Transportation Global Edit Table (TGET) IAW Rules and Accessorial Services Governing the Department of Defense Freight Traffic by Rail Carriers, (SDDC Freight Traffic Rules, and Publication No. 10B), DTR Part II, Regulations CFR Title 49 and other applicable regulations.
