Job Description

Job Summary :

Process, create, and track documents/purchase orders associated with customer need, domestic and international. Responsible for creating purchase orders, create rapport while managing outside vendors, and serves in a liaison capacity across departments. Works closely with the Program Managers, production control, and logistics to ensure effective working relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Employee understands as the face of Dynamic, expectation is prompt and professional responses in regards to requests for communication.
  • Emails and phone calls must be acknowledged by COB daily, not to exceed 24 hrs within standard work week.
  • Review purchase orders requirements to assess and validate price and lead time to ensure on-time delivery to the customer.
  • Ensure items driving extra cost are captured, tracked and executed. Will be reviewed at the purchase order approval level.
  • Process and maintain purchase orders (PO’s) utilizing our Syteline MRP system. Track Not Needed, Move-In, and Move-Out exceptions to be processed within (7) working days, as well as Past Due orders.
  • All forms of communication with both internal and external customers to be executed with utmost professionalism, dignity, and respect.
  • Treat every other department in the building like your customer. Meaning, support status and communication in a timely manner.
  • Effectively communicate with all internal support functions.
  • Effectively communicate any PO issues, or possible delays to customers. Along with creatively thinking, of a solution to the possible delay.
  • Actively pursue and support daily/monthly sales expectations.
  • Ensure Logistics awareness regarding generation of purchase orders if logistics support is necessary to be successful.
  • Communicate with Logistics on load and shipping support.
  • Work with vendor on managing performance issues, both quality and delivery.
  • Work closely with production control on priorities (past dues, shortages, delays, etc.)
  • Attend department and company meetings as requested. Be on time and be present (only business critical cell phone activity).
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Standard 40 hour work week.
  • Actively support Dynamic goals and objectives as communicated.
  • Adhere to employee handbook standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience preferred.
  • Adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday.
  • Familiar with planning and ERP software, Syteline a plus.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized, focused, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
  • Timely execution on Dynamic assigned training.
  • Hand/finger dexterity.
