Job Description
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, trenchers, backhoes, loaders, and other utility construction equipment.
- Perform trenching, excavation, backfilling, grading, and conduit installation for broadband and fiber optic systems.
- Read utility locates, construction prints, and grade stakes.
- Safely work around existing underground utilities and follow all utility protection requirements.
- Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials as needed.
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and job progress to supervisors.
- Work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions.
- Travel to job sites as required.
