Job Description
Pouch Operator What You'll Do- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pouch filling machines to ensure safe and efficient production
- Follow daily production schedules based on product needs
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper filling, sealing, and packaging
- Perform in-process quality checks (e.g., temperature, pressure, fill volume)
- Maintain aseptic conditions to ensure product safety and quality
- Complete production logs, batch records, and quality documentation accurately
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sanitation and equipment operation
- Communicate production or quality issues to supervisors and team leads
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to meet food safety and regulatory standards
- Support other operational areas as needed to maintain production flow
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6–12 months of food manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work with Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated or warm production areas
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, accountability, and integrity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent climbing of stairs and ladders
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and handling tasks
- Visual acuity including close, distance, and depth perception
- Shift- 10p-6a
- Full-time position in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
- Schedule may include various shifts, weekends, and overtime based on production needs
- Work performed in an indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to:
- Heat and warm processing areas
- Production equipment and machinery
- Food ingredients, allergens, and cleaning chemicals
