Job Description
Duties may include: Attend to cattle, duties may include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching, loading, hauling manure, and hauling feed. Clean/maintain/repair machinery and equipment. Other duties will include operating farm equipment, farm tractors/farm trucks, setup/tear downs of manure equipment. Maintain records on cattle; examine cattle for injuries or diseases, assist with calving; administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides. Swathing and baling & other related Farmworker, Livestock activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
